- OUR STORY -
-The Beginning-
Twenty-five years ago, our parents purchased the neighboring property that was once a large pecan orchard. Together they developed the property into what is today, The Grove Nursing Home and Outpatient Rehab. As kids, we played on this land and watched our parents work very hard to build a much needed business this community could be proud of. We spent our summers at The Grove, working to earn spending money. After pursuing our degrees and following different paths, Michael and I gravitated back to The Grove, where we have jointly continued to serve the community. Our parents, now retired, are pursuing their dream of traveling across the United States. Michael and I are pursuing our dream, to enrich the lives of this community by overseeing the day- to- day at The Grove Nursing Home and now the newly developed Orchard Park!
– The Future-
We recognized a housing need in the area, one that should accommodate the 55+ age group which is a large and important group in our local community. After much thought, prayer and planning we designed homes that would offer the experience of a small neighborhood setting. The design of Orchard Park encourages socialization and indulgence in a life of ease while allowing our team of dedicated staff to maintain the household. Orchard Park will benefit active folks and allow them to remain independent by offering transportation, daily check-in, a daily meal, gated entry, on-site healthcare, and most importantly, peace of mind. Our long-term goal is to expand the neighborhood to include additional cottages and clubhouse on the property as well.
